新加坡導演梁智強執導《我們的故事》１、２集，以60年代新加坡鄉村生活為背景。他30日抵台受訪，提到有場重現新加坡1969年的水災戲，是受李安執導的《少年PI的奇幻漂流》啟發，決定打造一座大水池拍攝，拍完後讓他獲得滿滿成就感。

梁智強說水災戲在片中很重要，「是新加坡歷史的一部分，所以堅持一定要拍。」全片幾乎以閩南話為對白，包括演員服裝，場景、道具都考究擬真，目的要讓觀眾進入時光隧道，回到鄉村生活。

他說拍片最大難度是前期籌備，包括找到會講台語的演員。片中２位新人演員陳俊銘、廖永誼就是千中選一，其中廖更被影迷稱為「新加坡王大陸」。主角李國煌曾自曝片中最大挑戰就是講台語，「梁導要求又很高，其中一句對白NG超過60次。」

該片觸及往日時光，梁透露拍片靈感是開車時聽台灣老歌，包括姚蘇蓉、劉家昌等人的音樂，就連片尾曲都選用羅大佑的〈閃亮的日子〉，足見對老歌喜好。《故事》１、２集於６月３日在台上映。
